Matching URLs with Htaccess

I am curious if it is possible to use HTACCESS to redirect to  new portfolio urls from my old ones based on the complexity of the link.

http://www.suissamesser.com/portfolio/project/advertising/the_responsiveness_campaign

The old links were:
http://www.suissamesser.com/portfolio/advertising/the_responsiveness_campaign/1
http://www.suissamesser.com/portfolio/advertising/the_responsiveness_campaign/

Thanks in advance for any assistance on this.

It is possible to do many things with mod_rewrite, even in .htaccess files.  You posted the original link...to where would you like them rewritten?

Thanks!

The top link I posted is the new address and the bottom two links are URLs pointing to the old version.

If someone enters one of the old URLs we want it to go to the new one.

Try this:

RewriteRule ^/?portfolio/advertising/the_responsiveness_campaign /portfolio/project/advertising/the_responsiveness_campaign [R]
