Creating an iphone app or android app for a website using a macbook pro
I would like to create a basic app for one or both apple and android based devices. Initially, I would like the apple to simply pull the text blurb. Once that gets written, I can work on the more complicated graphics options later. I understand that in order to write an app for apple once must subscribe to the apple Iphone developer program which costs $99 dollars. What I am looking for is come sample code and or templates for basic functionality. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks.
I have found phonegap which creates a android and iphone app by creating a native app from a web design so I uyse dreamweaver cs5 to create andriod apps and its working. Apple are basically blocking this like phonegap it will work but not as good as a native app as the safari browser in ios 4.3 uses a technology called nitro and as yet only native apps can use nitro not phonegap
But I have found phonegap for android pretty easy as all you do is create a website in html 5 css3 in dreamweaver cs5 and then put it into the andriod simulators www directory

also for the iphone you would need to register to get the iphone.sdk as the android.sdk is free to download as thats how phonegap works
the only problem I know about is Apple are discouraging phonegap and other shortcuts to iphone apps as they will not work the same as local apps using nitro in safari as Apple only alow local apps to use nitro
