Hi, I'm using vs2008, C# .net 3.5.
I have a couple of forms that user will complete and hit the Submit button.  What is a cheap and dirty way to make sure these data are encrypted on the way back to the server?  thank you.

The only way is by using SSL.

Does that involve purchasing additional items from company like Verisign or can I just configure this on IIS?  Thank you.

Yes, you need to buy a certifiate, but you can get a cheap one for under $100 I think,
there could be some free ones too, not sure.
You may have to pay an additional monthly fee with your hoster for this service.
It's usually around $10 a month.
