IE7 Dojo Problem

Hi,

URL:
http://center.e-enterprise.purdue.edu:8080/yeast/beta/Index.action

On IE7, as you can see, footer overlaps with the right column!
Dojo is being used widely for menu, tab creations etc.
It works on IE8 and Firefox 3.6

Please post your solution with fixes for IE7 and the solution should be cross-browser comptaible, i.e. it should not break up website on other browsers!

Thanks!

The way floats work in IE6 and 7 are different than IE8 and the other browsers.  You'll need to wrap your contentwrapper and rightcolumn in one wrapping div that floats, and the footer will need to be outside that.

Another option is changing the right column to be float:left.   By having it float right, it removes it from the document structure flow.

There will end up being  other ie7 layout problems, like if your page is too small the text in the top won't line up.   IE7 makes you have to tweak lots of things to make it work like other browser.

You could also try the solutions suggested here.
