Hi,

Can anyone tell me a quick and easy way to stop users saving image & music files to their 'business' folders, these folders are 'redirected folders' located on our server..?

Basically I want to filter the type of documents that they can save in their redirected folders..??

I have looked at GP but can't find what I want..?

Thanks

Take a look at "File Screens" using the "File Server Resource Manager". You can block certain files types from being saved on the server.

I see you are using Small Business Server 2008. I know it is in the full edition of Windows Server 2008 so I am assuming it will be in SBS 2008 also. The feature was introduced in 2003 R2.

Thank you wgray05..!

That was easy, in SBS it's in the Server Manager then File Services then File Screen Management -> Create Screen...  I didn't even realise it was there.!

Cheers
