Exchange 2007 how to change the way the server sends email.

I have an exchange server and its been configured to send email to a third party for Spam checking before it goes out on the internet. I can see the smtp connector being used in the Queue as (MySpamProvider.com) instead of the domain name of the email address.

Can someone please help with a way to check where this is configured and how to change it back to just using DNS.

On the properties of your SEND Connector, change from Smarthost to DNS.

Exchange Management Console> Organization Config> Hub Transport.

Sorry I don't see a send connector in Exchange Management Console> Server Config> Hub Transport.

I do see a send connector tab in the Exchange Management Console> Organization Config> Hub Transport.
There is one in there named Windows SBS Internet Send Server1
in the properties under the network tab I found its using DNS and no settings under smarthost. Some has changed it already.

Thanks for your help!

I did put Organization Config!

If it has changed - then you should be good to go.

At least you now know where to look.
