We have an exchange server 2003 on a Windows Server 2003 DC.
I am trying to add the email address: hr@ourdomain.com
It says that it's used, and changing it automatically to hr2@ourdomain.com
When sending an email to hr@ourdomain.com, the sender get's a bounce message.
When I am making a search in the entire directory for hr@ourdomain.com, no results found !
How to know which account is taking hr and why it's not receivng messages?? It seems that it was related to a disabled account.

go to Exchange enterprise manager, and browse to database name --> Mailboxes. sort mailboxes by email address, and check if you have mailbox with this address.
