How to I put VM to sleep/save

I have VM in Hyper-V who I want to put to save state and wakeup from command line. Is that possible ?

Follow these steps:

Install PowerShell,
Then add the Hyper-V Powershell Library.

Then use the commands Start-VM, Stop-VM, Suspend-VM, and Shutdown-VM and etc to do as you wish.

I have installed Hyper-V Powershell Library. and the commands are working, but how can I start them from scheduled tasks ?

You can use Scheduled Tasks to launch PS scripts. See http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee176949.aspx#EBAA for how to launch powershell scripts from command line

Or you can use the CLI command 'at'
