Just a basic MAC newbie question. I am upgrading HD of a Mac Book Pro. I am running MAC OSX 10.6 and wanted to know if I can create a backup image of the OSX system partition using Disk Utility while OSX is running? Can I then restore that image to a hard drive, then swap the hard drives and boot OSX from the new HD? If there is a different, proper way to do this, what is it?
