java display tag scientific notation problem while exporting to excel

Hi,
      I have been using display tag to display the data in table format and providing the options to export to excel. While exporting to excel the numbers are getting displayed in scientific notation format, but i want them to be displayed as it is. How to avoid this problem? Please help me out..
