Business Objects - Explanation

Need to test / migrate some universe based reports. I open the universe PROD , change the connection Params to TEST save the universe locally. Open Business Objects from designer choose a report, and refresh it seems to be still pointing to PROD. Why is that ? What should I do to test a report in diff environments. Im new to BO help appreciated.

No response from anyone. I have found the problem I saved the local univers but it keeps picking up from a default folder - I guess there is a way to change the default folder but that fixed it.
