xp machine printing working fine from all other apps, installed latest adobe x but as soon as you select file and print it sits at hour glass. I have a number of printers setup but as it is not getting even to select the printer i am presuming print drivers are not the issue?

if that's doesn't solve it  then uninstall  adobe ,  make sure sure the printer is on
then install adobe again and finally install the printer drivers

try first to uninstall adobe and  then try to print any document  .
then let the printers on
then install adobe again while the printers on
you may also  need to run these commands in CMD

net stop spooler
then
net start  spooler

Somebody else looked at the issue, there were some old printers still attached, he deleted them an printing is now perfect!
