Hi All,

I have XenServer 5.6.1 installed on an HP DL380 G7.
2 Virtualised Svr 2008r2 servers running XenApp6 farm.

The client machines have SmartCard Readers attached (required).

The CTXSmartcardSVC seems to cause the CTXSVCHost.exe to run very high CPU Usage.

Stop the CTXSmartcardSVC and CPU usage drops but then the smart cards don't work.

It is critical the smartcards work but the published desktop runs slowly.

Hope someone can help,

Thanks,

Ross

Could i assume that you have looked in the Citrix website for compatability issues between the two. Possible hotfix?

Hi xmlmagician,

I have all the currently available Hotfixes installed although I think XA6W2K8r264018 was released last week. I have not yet installed it but there does not seem to be any relevent changes within that hotfix.

With regards to compatibility are you thinking "Hardware - OS" or "Citrix - OS" ....

Cheers,

Ross

I am thinking more of a Citrix - OS i do not know if you should contact Citrix directly. Especially if you have all the updates installed
