Hello All--
I have a list in Sharepoint 2010.  I am using the built in Workflow to request approval.  I want to add to the workflow so that the Requestor gets an email with a link to the task so they can review it.

How would I accomplish this?

You need to add the "Send e-mail" activity. To send the url you can concatenate the URL to the disp form and the lookup to the current item ID, something like this:

http://mysharepoint/lists/mylist/DispForm.aspx?ID=[%current item:ID%]

I do not know how you you request for the approval, but you can use the lookup to get the user who has created or edited the item.
