I need to connect to an oracle DB from SQL server 2008

Ive enabled Allow in process under providers
I keep getting connection Failed messages
Is there a simple Instruction sheet ( yeah I know ).
I have a connection in my ODBC sources

Thanks Derek but I don't think this is applicable to server 2008.
Ive review it already and am lost

Sorry about the initial version confusion - the question was in the SQL Server 2005 zone and I didn't catch that you were using 2008 from the title. Glad I could help.
