I have the following code in an xml file which feeds into a flash website. The url is accessed via the flash site from the xml file. The page opens in a separate windws but there is NO RESIZING. Please can someone put me right:

<pageText>

Linkedin

</pageText>

I have tried the following which opens the window but it DOESN'T resize it:

<pageText>

Alternative Web Site popup

</pageText>

The flash site references an xml file. I alter various text and url parameters by editing this xml file. These changes are then actioned by the flash site

However flash does not render html onto a page so we need more information as to how the xml is transformed.

What is the flash app you are using?

Yes. If the flash is reading the XML and creating browser instructions, I would like to know how

I am still unclear about how the url is being hadnled. I can create as many url's in the xml file as I want and they will be accessed by the flash site. Doesn't that mean that the url is being controlled by the xml file, not the flash ?

Sure but flash has its own way of navigating and you want the flash to call a javascript that will open a sized window. Unless you put such a script in the html where the flash also lives you will not get a sized window. I am not a flash specialist but I doubt flash can open such a window without help

Is it not possible to embed a script or function in the xml file which will resize the window - I can't find one which will do the job

1: A "C" grade is not acceptable. Request a delete instead HOWEVER:
2: Some questions have an unpleasant answer. From what you have told/shown me so far the answer is not possible. It is a valid answer. You may not like to hear it, but you should not shoot the messenger!

I had no intention of "shooting the messenger". Would a B grade be acceptable?
If so, how do I delete and regrade ?

Yes a "B" would be better, if you accept it is not possible to do what you want.

I unaccepted so you can choose a comment to grade

It looks as if the question I was asking was not possible. I have now added the relevant links into buttons in the flash site itself rather than try to use xml links and this works ok.
