outlook share on vista to win7 Ultimate

I just installed on a second HDD win7 Ultimate on the first HDD i have vista 64 with outlook like to transfer all outlook files to win7 .
Do i just set up outlook on the win7 with the same name like in vista then just copy all .pst file over the new setup from vista will it give me all setting like outlook in vista???

webpanther, thank you for your posting;

you will need to simply boot to the windows 7 install, open outlook, then make sure that "hidden" files are disabled so that you can see all the system files, then you choose "import" in outlook, and direct it to the vista hdd to %root%/users/username/appdata/local/microsoft/outlook and there's your .pst file that contains all the email and contacts...

you may want to boot to your vista install, and export your mail settings if you have forgotten them, then log back into your windows 7 install and import your mail settings

outlook won't led me go to any other drive then c: drive to import a file i had to make a archive saved the archive to a other drive not the same sysdem (when i was in vista drive(c;) wasn't able to save it to win7 drive) then i was able to import the the archive but i had to setup all e-mail acounts manual.
I hwas trying before just to copy all .pst file to a temp file but how i sad the importer won't let me change the hdd only will search ad c: drive
