I have a bunch of emails that come in United Parcel Server Notification and DHL notification from a email account on my Joomla Website. The email is info@reportsolutions.com
I created a rule that checks the Inbox Folder but cannot seem to get the Junk Mail to get checked so that these emails are automatically deleted. How do I fix this..........................

................... and by chance does anyone know how people are getting my info@reportsolutions.com website email and using it against me.....? I am baffled. Thank you very much.

Outlook's rules for handling mail does not extend to the junk mail folder.

A quick solution would be to enter the junk mail folder ---> right click the email in question ---> Select Add to Safe Sender's List
Then create a rule to have that address automatically deleted.

In the delete rule you can add several addresses, so you only really need 1 delete rule for multiple addresses.

---------------------------------------

as far as people obtaining that address?  It is on the website and is public facing.  Robots crawl the web all the time and pickup any and all email addresses they can scan.  There are several other ways it could have been collected, as well, but that one seems likely, you may have been cataloged and sold as part of a marketing mailing list.  This is underhanded and unethical, and in many cases, illegal, but not much one can do about it, except to filter your mail.

Clarification :
Create a rule to have the emails received from that address deleted.

if you are getting email from one email address or one domain. you can configure junk mail to block the sender
if multiple senders. create a rule with to email address & specific word.
