No SIP Debug info

I am trying to setup Cisco CME (UC540) to call to my Exchange server for voice mail.
When I call the VM extension I am getting NO debug with "debug ccsip messages".
But when I debug dial-peer I get debug and it appears to route to the correct dial-peer 2000.
Calling number is 260, VM is 777 and Dial Peer is 2000.  Any thoughts on how to debug this?  What determines which source address will be used by the UC540 to communicate with it ipv4: target IP?  I am thinking perhaps the UC540 is using the outside IP and that might not be getting tunneled correctly to get to the Exchange server.  Thanks.

. . . not in front of the console . . . but can't you configure the source IP address for specific services?

Good luck,
