How do I renew a KRA Certificate

Hi All,

I've slipped up and let my KRA certificate expire.  I now need to renew it.  Do I just go to the web page for my issuing CA and request a certificate using an "Existing Key Set"?  The web page is asking for a "Container Name" and I don't know what that is.  I also have yet to find definitive instructions on how to renew a KRA certificate.

We have an Enterprise PKI setup and I'm listed as the KRA, so once I renew my KRA cert, all should be well, correct?  I didn't remember to renew until I saw an error that my users aren't able to archive their keys lately.

Any assistance is GREATLY appreciated!!

Thanks for checking in, but I'm hopefully ok.  I tried to renew the certificate using the same key, but could not b/c the certificate had alreaday expired.  I tried to request a new key with the same key, but that never worked, so I requested a completely new certificate, which worked.

I'm assuming I'm ok.

That is, unfortunately, your course of action.  I am glad you are up and running again.
