Create form for admin to upload data

Hello,
Is there some module or extension or something that will help to achieve this:

I need the admin user to use a form (or anything) to enter name, city , sex, age, location & pic of a worker under a specific group.
I don't want to use the article manager to create a new article.

Any ideas?
Thanks

I think you need to provide a little more info on how this data input fits into the larger site perspective.

There are many extensions that provide for this type of information to be captured for site users (or non-users), with this input by an admin or by the user themselves. Community Builder is an obvious (and free) example.

If you want to create a separate database to store this information about workers completely unrelated to the site users, and wanted to use a form extension to do it, then Chronoforms would be my suggestion. I am sure there are many others but this one does what you want nicely.

I need the admin to enter the data usually pic, name, comment & salary for the employees that are going to be shown on the home screen...
The article manager is not what I am looking for..

Thanks

So this is static information that doesn't relate to any site users logging in?

If so why would you want the info in a database table and what is wrong with using an article?

Well, I can use the article
But I need to make this work an easy one, for example to add a new employee, then I need to copy the table and paste it & edit the data...

Mmm... I was thinking of a single article, using a single table if you like for layout within the article - in which case you would simply be adding a new row for a new employee. Seems a simple way to go, if the information is to be maintained by one admin and only for display.

What problems if any do you see with this simple approach?

But then, I need to add a row manually everytime,  the one that will be using it, it not familiar with coding

I don't think this is hard.

Set up an editor like JCE or Art of Editor on the site - both of these have a simple icon to add a row into an existing table. No need for coding knowledge. You would need such an editor to facilitate the upload of images for the staff member anyway.

That is great, but it doesn't change the fact that you asked a question which led to a relevant answer chain.

I know..
But to be honest, and to give points then the answer will guide me through a final answer...
Right?

Not quite sure what you are saying, but points should go to responding to the question(s) asked - which I believe occurred. I don't think this changes if the underlying question changed during the investigation or you found a different answer.

Mmm... if solutions means answering the questions asked then:

1. My first post sought clarification of the question as well as suggesting two solutions depending on the clarification
2. My second post further sought to clarify the question
3. My third and fourth posts showed how the perceived difficulties with the simple solution could be resolved

Not trying to be difficult at all, but solving the questions asked should be rewarded.

I need to delete the row manually every time and re put the employees in an order...
I am going to split the points, but I am not sure that this will be the correct answer.

Thanks

Thanks.

As to deleting the row manually, this would be a select the row then single icon click with the JCE article editor. Resorting the rows might be more tedious I agree. If there were many rows that would tend to favour a forms component like Chronoforms or LazySheep's Fabrik.

In any case I am glad you found an alternate solution.
