Open Source program to post to twitter and other social media

I am being tasked to built a program to integrate with the current ASP.net web application which has the users post the their individual blogs. Now i am asked to expand the current web application to automatically post the content to other social media.

Is there a tool to accomplish this.

you can use twitter API
