Hi

i have recently started to see the below error message on exchange 2007

There is an online maintenance overlap for database "First Storage Group\Mailbox Database". Please revise the online maintenance schedule

The maintenance schedule does not run at the same time as the backup or any other software which could potentially affect it.

Does anyone have any idea as to what may be causing this error message?

Thanks in advance.

do you know if this is resolved when you upgrade to SP2?

No I don't think SP2 cleans this up. Its a trivial warning that you can safely ignore however you could try changing the schedule via: -

Start EMC > Server Configuration > Select the server > Expand the storage group > Right click the store > Properties > General tab > Maintenance schedule drop down and select a new interval, or click Customize to create a custom schedule.

i've tried everything to get rid of it, moving the schedule, moving the backup, nothing seems to stop it, if it is safe to ignore then that's fine, i'm just a bit wary that if i am getting these warnings that the maintenance plan is not working fully and that i will have an issue further down the line.

It doesn't appear to affect the maintenance at all it just throws out that annoying warning.
