mail relay on sonicwall tz190

hi,

i have a rule setup somewhere (i dont know) that stops mail from from being relayed from our firewall which is a tz190, now i want to be able to srt one to come from one of our isps, how do i do this?

it's either going to be a LAN > WAN or WAN > LAN rule. by default, everything is blocked WAN > LAN, so you'll want to open the ports from that direction. if you created a rule, my guess is you created it LAN > WAN. since you want the traffic to flow from your ISP to your internal network, you'll want to run the public server wizard.

here's a KB on using that. if you know the public IP address your ISP, you can also change the source within the rule WAN > LAN so that ONLY the ISP can send in through your sonicwall.
