I just recently setup my MDT server and I am able to deploy images to my target computers using a bootable USB, CD, or DVD with the Lite Touch PE program. I am looking for a way to deploy from the server so I dont have to walk around to every computer and load the winpe everytime. Is there an easier/quicker way for deploying a Windows 7 image using Microsoft Deployement Toolkit?

use wds and set up pxe boot  Use WDS to import your litetouch***.wim file and pxe boot into your deployment share from that. You can also use multicasting with wds in server 2008 and newer. Other then that, my advice would be to not use wds beyond that.

remember that wds service will shut down if it can't find a domain controller
