the above task works fine for several 2005 to 2005 DBs, but when i tried it on one set today, i get the error

"[Transfer SQL Server Objects Task] Error: Execution failed with the following error: "ERROR : errorCode=-1071636475 description=Column "Psap_OldRec" cannot be found at the datasource.  helpFile=dtsmsg.rll helpContext=0 idofInterfaceWithError={8BDFE893-E9D8-4D23-9739-DA807BCDC2AC}".

I confirmed with sys.columns that both databases has Psap_OldRec in the table and the table have the same number of columns etc.

what could be wrong? is there any other system table/view to check to confirm/isolate?

thanks

Since this is really a column not found error , I suggest that you compare source and target databases with this free tool
