I have an HP laptop with a Toshiba hard drive.   When booting up the laptop keeps blue screening.   I have run multiple hard drive tests from UBCD and the laptop and the hard drive passes.  I put the drive in an external case and after a slow process I can see the folders ion the drive but cannot access them.   On the hard drive test, it says the "Security Freeze Locked".   Whjat can I do to be able to get necessary documents off this drive?  THe laptop is running Windows XP

I was able to get to the files after I put in a different external case.   I will now try to format drive to reinstall.
