In Windows 7 (32bit) are there any tricks to making WordPerfect 2000 (ver.9.0.0.738 Service pack 3) work as a power user?

I realize that there are rights issues as a power user  and the app does work under the admin account.  I  need to run WordPerfect as a power user so that the users do not gain any admin privileges.   In Wordperfect when printing the print job vanishes when sent to the printer and Quattro Pro wants to write to the registry when it is opened. Please advise if more details needed... Thank you guys so much!

The Power Users Group no longer exists and all users behave as Standard Users all the time until elevated. Even members of the Administrators Group (excluding the Administrator account) are standard users all the time.
What you can try is run the applications in XP compatibility mode. Sometimes it solves, sometimes not and i have not those applications here to test.
Another alternative is install them on Virtual PC.
