I'm trying to copy a small, camcorder DVD-R to a normal 1-16X Playo DVD-R.  I've tried with both Nero and Roxio but keep getting the same error.  The video is ripped successfully, but when the blank DVD+R is inserted into the drive the program says: "Please insert a blank DVD-R into the HL-DT-ST DVDRW DL (D:) drive.  Supported media: CD-R, CD-RW, DVD+R, DVD-R DL, DVD+R DL, DVD RAM" then the drive pops open.  Is there something about my Playo DVD+R that isn't sufficient for this?

Try another CDBurner application and try it with that.

Either IMGBurn http://www.imgburn.com/
or CDBurnerXP http://cdburnerxp.se/

Both are free and excellent.  Good tutorials can be found on both sites.

See how those handle the Playo media.
