We use Firefox as your browser, and I am managing my Linked In, Facebook and Twitter account using their own interfaces.

Does anyone have any recommendations as to the best software to use / plug in so I can quickly access all three at the same time?

from the standpoint of Misc Security, using their own interfaces without some bug introducing middleware is the preferred option.
to make 3 separate accounts more manageable you could use some sort of single signon software. I for instance subscribed to LastPass and have been happy ever since. Your mileage may vary.

You might want to have a look at Flock http://www.flock.com/ if you are into Facebook and Twitter.

And Rockmelt http://www.rockmelt.com/ for just Facebook.
