Nagios notification sender format

My nagios notifications are coming thru as:

nagios@nagios2@ahec.edu

nagios2 is the server name

I'd like them to come across as "Nagios2@ahec.edu".

where would i edit this, is this a mailx edit or a nagios cfg file edit?

Nagios uses the system User Account who owns the Nagios to send emails so I don't think there is way to customize the from email account unless you add some hooks like php (or) html email wrappers.

All I know is that my other nagios server, inherited, sends out notifications as nagios@ahec.edu. and both servers have the same user accounts Nagios and Support.

its not a big deal...just something i was trying to figure out.
