Confluence strips HTML email message

I am using confluence 3.4. I have a space that has a mail account added to it,
so when a person sends an email to that email address it is automatically added to the page.

The issue im having is if a user sends an email that has an HTML body it is being converted to text.  How do you make it so confluence doesnt strip the HTML and the email will stay in tact.

Email Archiving (email threads) functionality of Confluence does not support rich email formats as far as I am aware.
