Constant Contact tags for custom email
I have a xhtml email file that I've developed but I'm trying to integrate it in to Constant contact. I know there are some CC specific tags for functionality but I can't seem to find any sort of codex on tags and customizing an email. Does someone have these tags? CC is no help.

If you use one of their stock forms and send it to yourself, you'll see in the source code how they do things. You should know that their stock templates that I use don't even have a DOCTYPE because it is usually stripped in email clients. You might want to take a look at this: http://www.campaignmonitor.com/css/ Gmail strips any <style> sections and ignores a number of other tags. Many email clients are limited in what they support in HTML. Email clients are not browsers and those that are used in browsers rewrite your code to keep from breaking their pages. Some strip all HTML or convert it to just text.

I understand what you are saying and agree with you, but unfortunately I have Clients who have bought in to the marketing hype of CC. I will try sending myself a test message and see what I can find out.

I sent the email to myself as a test but it doesn't show the specific constant contact tags I am looking for. You would think they would have some sort of codex where you can find all of the tags but apparently that is too much to ask. Has anyone run across such reference?

I basically took a template and customized it in Dreamweaver. My problem is I am missing the constant contacts tags.

I see what you and that some things won't work. But I don't understand now what you mean by "constant contacts tags". And the numbers in that image tag at the bottom are supposed to represent your account.
