Looking for a full feature notification server for email, text messages, voice, etc.
Hello - I've been hunting for a server product (not a 3rd party pay service...which there are many) that I'm referring to as a 'notification server' (although not sure that's the best way to reference it).
Looking for something that I could connect to from various applications to handle sending out e-mail, text messages, faxes, voice calls (and potentially print documents) based on passing some structured (XML?) information to it. I view this as being very similar to any given fax server, except that it can handle all the other various outbound notices as well. Ideally (like most fax servers) would look for a way to get a response back or be able to query the status of any given job, etc.
Maybe I'm searching entirely incorrectly for this, but to my surprise I am not finding any server products of this nature (thought going in there would be many). Any recommendations of products that meet these needs?
Any and all help is appreciated...
