Okay, the scenario is that I need to setup Lotus Notes account for a list of users and their computers is all on the network. We already have Lotus Notes 6.5 installed on all of their computers as well.

I have a list of Account Names & Lotus Notes ID & password for every users. I just want a VBscript to create these accounts on each of these computers.

VBscript? Create accounts on computers?? Sorry, I don't understand.

Or maybe you want to avoid that the users have to configure Notes themselves? The procedure isn't that difficult, with a good description they can pull it off without your help.

You might also supply them with a pre-configured notes.ini file. Here's some info about that:

My mistake..I want to be able to use as you said a pre-configured notes.ini which I can send to their computer and then connect and setup their Lotus Notes with a minimal effort. I read the link you gave ...

For example: ConfigFile=C:\Program Files\Lotus\Notes\Data\setup.txt The wizard reads the text file and completes the setup. The user is able to bypass the wizard screens for which parameters have been provided by the text file.

How do you get the wizard to read the ConfigFile ? I'm a bit lost there

Sorry that I have to object. Can you explain why you first want to "abandon the project" and then you ask the next question on almost the same subject? With the information I supplied, as it seems?

Infomation got from Lotus Notes is that the Configfile won't work and I couldn't get a copy of InstallerShield for Lotus Notes 6.5. That's the reason why I abandoned the project.
