iis will not work on xp sp3

I've installed IIS on lap top with XP SP3 but it will not work. I think it's a security problem during the install. I believe there is a registry fix for this problem but I can't remember what it is.

Ah, I have a note somewhere with the fix for this. I'll locate it and post it for you, but it's at home, so I won't be able to post it for 12 hours.

If someone else can help you in the meantime, that's great.

check your windows firewall settings as well as any 3rd party AV & firewall settings

Sorry, when I got home and hooked up the Hard Disk with that note on it, all the msg file had was the subject, so I've lost the data. If I can remember it, I'll post again. Good luck.
