After Crash in CME I cannot make outbound calls

Hello Experts,

THe Cisco 2610XM CME crashed, after replacing the faulty part and restored the running-config. The problem we have now is that we cannot make outbound calls.

The IP phones register to the CME and we can listen the dial tone. After dialing nothing, we cannot make calls.

I am not that familiar with CME configurations I am reading as fast as I can but I would be very grateful if somebody guide me with this problem.

Hi,

what type of voice card do you have?
Did you tried to call your phones from outside? Some ISDN provider not allowing make outbound call untill you called it from outside!

Best regards,
Istvan

Hi Ikalmar,

There is a NM-HDV T1
with PVDM-12 (2)   +  VWIC-1MFT

yes we tried to call from outside,  I can heard that the phone is ringing but we lost the ring tones  the files with .raw extension that come with CME. I am reading about how to get these files.

I don't know that much about VOIP,  but this problem is making me learn :)
thanks,
