I have recently installed the new version of BES express. I am wanting to find out where you can get predefined policies to install. Or is there such thing? My install only has Default. and rather than starting fresh i was wondering how i get templates?
Also i want to allow BBM for internal and external users but want to block those stupid broadcast forwards that people SPAM around, as if its not bad enough getting email SPAM! lol
Please advise.
Thanks

Hi,
It's best to define you own policies - on the Enterprise version you get around 5 - 6 predefined policies with various levels of lockdown but there are over 400 IT Policies on the full version compared to around 135 on BES EXpress.
You can always commission a VM running BES EXpress, tinker with IT Policies on a BlackBerry simulator and when you're happy with them, export and import them?

If i want to upgrade from Express to FULL is it as easy as just buying CAL's to unlock the featuresets? or do i have to do an entire re-install? i am already up and running with express and dont want to reconfigure everything all over. How easy is it to upgrade?

Hi,
You may need to commission a separate BES Enterprise Server 5.0.2 and use the Enterprise Transporter to seamlessly migrate existing users to the new infrastructure.
