The wife of BooMod ( http://www.experts-exchange.com/M_1328215.html ) had surgery today to remove a cancerous tumor from her spine; it is a recurrence of the breast cancer that struck her just after the first Core conference in 2008. As part of the procedure, she had a vertebrae removed and replaced with a titanium mesh sleeve supported by rods.

We have created a website at which you can help EE's most recent Impact Award recipient ( http://www.experts-exchange.com/expertAwardsCommunity.jsp?year=2010 ), given to an EE member whose contributions go far beyond points and certificates.

BooMod has given a good portion of his life to Experts Exchange's members; please join us in giving a little back.
