computers have not reported back to the server

what will trigger the below message, please advise.

Description:
Many client computers have not reported back to the server in the last 30 days. 4 have been detected so far.

Clients that has been formatted has another id and reported (if not deleted) as no reporting. Same occurs if laptops don´t appear for a few weeks.
