Using VB 2005 .NET to connect to a FTP

We have a user that is constantly connected to a FTP download and uploading importing files.

We are developing an app that will copy-to and copy-from the files this user needs.  What we need is to program the FTP connection.  How can we setup via VB 2005 code a simple FTP connection to see how it works? (if works all ok, we'll incorporate it to the copy-to/copy-from apps).

Please advice
