CLI tool for cluster ssh

Hello, I am looking for Command line interface alternative for cluster ssh (cssh).. usually cluster ssh opens the many windows in GUI.. I am looking for the alternative if it can be forked windows inside in the terminal itself. Please let me know if there is a alternatives available or any work around. Thanks!

Hi,

you could try "dsh", "pdsh" if available for your platform, or you could use a simple script to run the same command against a couple of servers contained in a list.

http://linux.die.net/man/1/pdsh

A simple script

#!/bin/sh
while read server
  do
     echo "--- $server ---"
     ssh user@$server "$@"
  done < serverlist
exit

Of course you could refine the script (commandline options, "parallel" execution etc.)
