When he has multiple Yahoo chat sessions open he is unable to bring them back up from the task bar unless he maximizes the yahoo application and selects the conversation from the list.  The grouped taskbar windows won't respond to clicks.  I set the taskbar to NOT group similar buttons but he hates this as the buttons are to small when he has several of them open.  Any help is appreciated.

thanks

what is the configuration of the machine he works on ?  sounds like inadequate RAM ..

When this happens.. check the task manager to see if Yahoo Mgr.. is using Max CPU ..

Machine is Windows XP pro, 32bit, 2gb of RAM.  Checked and Yahoo isn't using the CPU at all.

Virtual memory is set to default.  As far as RAM being eaten up these are traders, they have 8 screens and have 100 apps open at once.  LOL

Since its impossible to get on their machines during trading hours I have to go with what the initial build spec was.  I didn't get a on site inspection.  All information was through call to the helpdesk.

i'd think it'd be a good idea to inspect this further while this happens.. and if possible rev up the physical RAM on one such problem box.. as a test measure ..
