I am trying to add a jquery slider submenu to my site design.

This is the existing design:

http://www.communitygreengroup.com/cg_new/about_us/
I have added the submenu here:

http://www.communitygreengroup.com/cg_new/test4.php
You can see that the space between the menu buttons and the big landscaping image is gone.  If you hover over About Us or Locations you can see the submenu appear shoved over to the right.  I want that menu to appear below the menu buttons in that cloud space.  Not sure why the space disappeared.

I also want the orange color to go away and have it be transparent with a the text color as green.

Thanks!

The space disappeared because you deleted it. It was the
<div id="navSub"></div>

Open in new window

.

The submenu is shoved to the right because it makes false assumptions about the layout of your page. Find this line in droplinemenu.js:

$targetul.css({left: $mainmenu.offset().left, top: $mainmenu.offset().top+this._dimensions.h})

Open in new window

Replace with:
$targetul.css({left: 0, top: $mainmenu.offset().top+this._dimensions.h})

Open in new window

You can play around with the values for left.

The orange color is defined in you stylesheet. Find this line:

background-color: #c76023;

Open in new window

and replace it by
background-color: none;

Open in new window

To make the text color green, find the line
color: #ffffff;

Open in new window

and replace by

color: darkgreen;

Open in new window

or something

SO much better!  There is a bit of a flicker.  What can I do about that?

I don't know what you mean by flicker? The submenu is not displayed immediately, but rather shown with a slidedown effect. Do you mean that?

No but I can't recreate it now so I will worry about it later.  Thanks!
