I have a WP blog with a slideshow. I  would like to know if there is a way from the home page to click on one of the slideshow images and got to another website page.  Of course as it stands now you got to the post.

This is definitely possible. I would need to know what you are using to display the slide-show though.

You will need to do it through one of the plug-ins PHP files. The css won't control the links, only how they appear.
