you need to create the Lun and then present it to the ESX server on the device.
Create the LUN/storage, I assume on your SAN? Once created, present it to your ESX host on your SAN. After it's presented, first rescan your ESX HBAs on the Configuration -> Storage Adapters page; then you go into Configuration >> Storage >> Add Storage and yes, add Disk/LUN. You may not see it yet...sometimes take a couple or so HBA rescans.

I get create disk virtual on Vmware but I think that I have done mistake because my storage alarm with message Logical Driver not on Proferred Path for a disk
What Caused the Problem?
There is a problem accessing the controller listed in the Recovery Guru Details Area. Any logical drives that have this controller assigned as their preferred path will be moved to the non-preferred path (alternate controller). This procedure will help you pinpoint the problem along the data path. Because the logical drives will be moved to the alternate controller, they should still be accessible. Therefore, no action is required on the individual logical drives.
Somebody have a idea for solve this problem way secure.
Thank very much.
