Hello Experts,

Need help to create a workflow between to custom list.  Beginier in sharepoint foundation  not a programmer I’m using sharepoint designer 2010

I’m having 2 lists;
-       1st list  jobs available,
-      2nd list candidate that apply for the job.

I have a job # that I’m referring too for another worlflow and should be unique. I have another field on both list named job status like open , closed, hold.
My current workflow should set, when the job status change on the 1st list ,  the job status of all person that have the current job #on the second list.  For now, my workflow is doing the job only for the first one that match the condition.

How can I make it works for all items that match the condition…

Thanks,

This is dificult to do with SharePoint designer 2010 out of the box - it does not allow loops nor is able to edit multiple items at one time.

You can try a workaround described here http://sharepointsolutions.blogspot.com/2008/05/looping-through-items-in-sharepoint.html (it's ofr 2007 but will work the same in 2010) but it's not very elegant solution.

I would recommend using some commercial 3rd party solution for workflows in SharePoint - there are much more powerfull and do not force you to do some strange workarounds.
