How do I prevent Joomla from making my links SEF?

My Joomla site has SEF links turned on and it is working properly. I do not want to turn it off.

I have a component that does not work well with the SEF links.

I got around this in my menu by defining them as external links so that the menu items link like this:

<li id="current" class="active item130"><a href="http://www.midohiosurgical.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=75&Itemid=130"><span>Metro Ohio East Office</span></a></li>

so that the non SEF version of the URL is displayed when someone clicks the link.

When I try to put this link: "http://www.midohiosurgical.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=75&Itemid=130"
in an article Joomla truncates it to:
"index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=75&Itemid=130"
And then when I try to click on it it goes here:
http://www.midohiosurgical.com/component/content/
Which does nothing.

Is there anyway to force Joomla to stop formatting certain links in my articles as SEF links and just link directly to: http://www.midohiosurgical.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=75&Itemid=130

Thanks
