excel question about removing two line text in one cell

I am trying to prepare data for a data base by formating tthe text to culumns. However, the second line in the same cell dissapears after I do the first, of what will be a few, text to column arrangements. Th clumn in queston is "F"

I think the problem is that each line contains a line delimiter, which the t-2-c wizard is splitting then possibly throwing away the second line.

One solution is to fix those lines like this:

Insert a new blank column before F (pushing F into column G) and put this formula in F2:

=LEFT(G2,FIND(CHAR(10),G2&CHAR(10))-1) & " / " & MID(G2,FIND(CHAR(10),G2&CHAR(10))+1,999)

Copy that down and now those newlines will be replaced with slashes on a single line.

Copy column F, paste back as Value and delete column G.
