Point mxrecords to gmail

Hello experts. I would like to ask you about the gmail accout and the connection with one of my other mail accounts. Actually I had 2 more email accounts that i had connected with my gmail account with pop3. but the problem was that the time of receiving the emails from the other accounts some times was reaching the 45 or 50 minutes. so i decided to make something else. Someone told me to change the mxrecords of my email to point to gmail. But the problem is after doing that what else shall i do so the other account see the spesific gmail account?

you should not do this. if your gmail account is a hosted gmail service (with domain services) they will have walked you though the process of moving the mx records to their servers as part of the setup. if you are pulling from a different mail server via pop3, redirecting your mx records to google could cause you to lose that mail - google will not accept it (instead bouncing it) and it will not be delivered to your own mail servers, unless you also have MX records for your own servers in addition to google's.

Then what is the process of using gmail without pop3
you pay them to host your entire domain for you.
It is *not* cheap.

Actually what you finally do is activating first the google apps then turn all the mx records to gmail and after that you are configuring the domain accounts through the domain panel in gmail.
